We all want our HP to be optimized fully. Whenever someone suggests to you that the fault is in your RAM and you need to update it, you might run into purchasing a new one. Take a deep breath and know that you can always find a solution to problematic situations.

If you want to complete such an intrinsic procedure on your own, you need to carry down the materials a little. You might need a small screwdriver, two flathead driver, one stick and the version of PC2-3200. It would take a lot of time and just ensure to make such changes when the device is out of the period of warranty.

Try dissembling the machine with the following steps:

  1. You may turn up your device in an upside down position and gently try sliding the locks from the fingers. Pull out the battery to take it out from your system.

  2. You might end up looking at some screws on either edge of your screen. Remove five screws and two additional presents beside the surface.

  3. Now keep it in the place where the monitor is facing you. You would notice three depressions on the upper end of the screen with the key of F2, F8 and pausing or a breakage. Use a screw in such depression and use the row of keys in a steady mode.

  4. Take the row of keys and fully place the networking cable into the motherboard. Detach the peripherals well. As you disconnect them, you might notice six screws towards the section of metal. Take the help of a screw-driver for pulling them out.

  5. For this scenario, shake the handle of your wireless network. Disconnect the sound cables followed by removal of SSD ribbons. After removing these components, you would see a RAM slot on the motherboard. It is present at the lower left side.

  6. You might launch up the new packages of Random Access Memory and place it back into the tab as it was made in the aforementioned bulletin.

  7. Try to reboot your PC. While you reboot it, press the F2 key for five seconds for bringing up the BIOS settings. Under the main tab, make sure that your RAM has been fully upgraded.
