To change the appearance of various Windows features, you can follow these steps:
Windows 10:
Make a right click on the empty area of the desktop background, then click Personalize from the available list.
When the Personalization window opens, select Background, Colors, Lock Screen, Themes, Start, or Taskbars to check their settings window.

Windows 7:
Make a right click on the empty area of the desktop background, then click on ‘Personalize’ from the available list.

Click Change a theme under Personalization category. Select the theme of your choice and notice instant changes taking place.
Select Change Desktop background and then select a picture of your choice to apply it on the desktop screen.
When you click Change Screen Saver, then you’ll see a new small window where you can apply screen saver on your desktop. Also, select the wait time to enable it. Select Apply button and then OK to save the changes.
